StandWatch AI Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Entity: StandWatch AIlegal entity name pending Draft prepared: September 2, 2026 Effective date: to be set at launch
This is a working draft, not a published policy. It's built to be complete enough to link during A2P 10DLC campaign registration and early pilot onboarding, but it has not been reviewed by an attorney and contains placeholders (marked like this) that need real values before this page is treated as StandWatch AI's actual policy. Have counsel review it — especially the retention and state-law sections — before relying on it for a live launch.

01Scope

This policy explains how StandWatch AI ("StandWatch," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when we operate after-hours AI voice and text answering services on behalf of home service businesses ("client businesses"), and when you visit our website.

StandWatch AI answers calls and sends texts on behalf of the client business a caller is trying to reach — for example, an HVAC company using StandWatch to cover its after-hours line. Where relevant, this policy distinguishes between the caller (the client business's customer), the client business itself, and the client business's staff.

02Information we collect

From callers

  • Name, phone number, and service address provided during a call
  • Call audio, recordings, and AI-generated transcripts
  • The nature of the request (e.g., "no heat," "routine maintenance") and any details volunteered during the call
  • SMS content and delivery metadata, when a text is sent or received

From client businesses

  • Business name, address, and contact details
  • Staff/technician names and phone numbers, for dispatch and emergency alerting
  • Dispatch rules, escalation preferences, and service-area configuration

From our website

  • Information submitted through contact or demo-request forms
  • Standard technical/log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)

03How we use it

  • To answer, qualify, and triage after-hours calls on behalf of a client business
  • To route emergencies and routine requests according to a client business's own rules
  • To send confirmation and alert texts related to a specific call or dispatch event
  • To maintain records of consent and call handling for compliance purposes
  • To operate, maintain, and improve the reliability of the service
  • To respond to inquiries submitted through our website
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not use caller information to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell caller or client data.

04SMS & calling program

StandWatch AI sends text messages in two situations: confirming a request with the caller, and alerting a client business's on-call staff to an emergency. Consent for each is captured separately and only when affirmatively given — a caller is verbally asked before any confirmation text is sent, and staff opt in during their employer's account setup.

No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information is not shared with any third parties.

Message frequency varies based on call activity. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Calls may be recorded and, where required, we disclose that a call is being handled by an automated system before proceeding.

05How we share it

  • The client business you called — the core of the service is passing your request details to the business you're trying to reach
  • Service providers — telephony and messaging infrastructure (e.g., Twilio), hosting, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf under contract
  • Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of a caller, staff member, or the public
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice where required

We do not share SMS opt-in data or consent records with third parties for their own marketing purposes, under any circumstance.

06Retention

We retain call recordings, transcripts, and SMS consent records for retention period — confirm with counsel to support compliance, dispatch history, and dispute resolution. Client business account and configuration data is retained for the duration of the business relationship and a limited period afterward for legal and accounting purposes.

07Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and access controls limiting who can view call and message data — to protect the information we handle. No system is perfectly secure, and we work to address vulnerabilities as they're identified.

08Your choices

  • Reply STOP to any text to opt out of future messages immediately
  • Ask a client business directly to have your information corrected or removed from their records
  • Contact us using the details below to ask what information we hold about you

Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. confirm applicable state-law disclosures with counsel before launch
